Are you a servant? In today's world being called a servant has a bad connotation but in the Bible it shows up as a guide to following our Lord and Savior.The outside world will not give credit to anything to do with Jesus because they believe their own effort and strength is what made them successful. We are not only followers but servants, we know that anything done for the Kingdom is to bring him glory. Every time we do a good deed a little piece of heaven breaks forth onto the earth and for that the outside world persecutes us as believers.
Persecution is always overcome with perseverance. To try no matter the challenges of this world to keep moving towards a goal where everyone not only hears the gospel but is transformed.
Father, I ask you to give us strength in these trying times where nonbelievers come to see what we have seen. The truth the way and the life that Jesus brings.
